Hey people: I never thought I'd be saying this, but Dig is hiring. We need a sales and marketing manager willing to work out of Permanent Publishing's U.S. office two blocks from the beach in suburban San Diego, CA. (Never thought I'd be saying that either.) Role: Maintain and Pursue all specialist shop sales and accounts, including cold calling, courtesy calling, incentive marketing and point of sale display. Pursue, Build and Maintain a good working relationship with all brand advertisers relevant to Dig. Including industry specific, lifestyle, music and technology. Whether a brand / manufacturer is advertising straight away or not can not affect the contact maintained with them. Push the on-line side of things hard. (www.digbmx.com)

Represent Dig Mag and Permanent Publishing at all relevant events, parties, screenings, gallery openings and any other relevant schmoozathons. Understand, Uphold and Pursue Dig BMX Mag's philosophy, goals and reputation. (This is within reason. You can still get drunk at video premieres and the Nora Cup if you want. -Brian)

Take responsibility for the Marketing and PR of Dig Mag in the US. Including reader, subscription and point of sale incentives (sorry to re-hash points made previously), secure Dig banner and sticker placement at all relevant events, skateparks, summer camps etc

Work closely with Justin Wallace on the development of the magazine. Work closely with PP USA Manager on Development of magazine.

Supply all artwork to PP UK as specified by production department. Maintain contact with and update regularly P.P UK Apply in writing stating in 400 words why you are the best person for the job and include latest resume.
